Llewellyn Mcclure

Llewellyn ("Lou") Beatrice McClure, 82, of Kerrville, Texas, passed into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on May 13, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas at University Hospital. She was born in Snyder, Texas on April 9, 1934 to Geneva and Dale Ware. She was married to the late, Don McClure, on March 23, 2012 in Kerrville, Texas.\r\n \r\nLlewellyn is preceded in death by her husband, Don McClure and her daughter, Sharon Greer.\r\n \r\nLlewellyn is survived by her son, Joel Whitfield, and his wife, Theresa; and her step children, Bob McClure, Dona Grose, Patti Gramm, Ronn McClure, Kathleen White, Lori McClure, Robin Bucanan and Ila Perales; her sister, Louise Wilson; her grandchildren, Audrey Beebe, Heath Box, Danika Boyle, Jason Whitfield, Christianna New, Faith Priour, Charity Hicks; and her great grandchildren, Joseph and Sierra Wheeler, Joshua and Dakota Beebe, Charlie Boyle, Jamison, Maliyah, and Brick Whitfield, Serenity, Luke and Seth New, Abigail and Hannah Hicks.\r\n \r\nLlewellyn was a devoted daughter to her parents and a loving mother to her children, grand children and great grandchildren. Although she was an accomplished business woman, having owned and operated women's dress shops in Marble Falls, Burnet and Kerrville, Texas, her greatest joy was her family. She had a gift for cooking and loved to feed her family and friends as often as she could. Her love for the Lord and His Word was a big part of her life and she Is now in His loving care forever.\r\n \r\nFuneral services will be held at 11:00, Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor John Wheat officiating. Burial services will be immediately following at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.\r\n \r\nMemorials may be given to The Coming King Foundation in Kerrville, TX.\r\n \r\nThe family of Llewellyn would like to thank all the staff at Peterson Regional Medical Center in Kerrville and the staff at University Hospital in San Antonio for their kind, compassionate and excellent care of Llewellyn during her brief stay with them.
