Linda Rodriguez

Linda Ann Rodriguez, 49, entered rest after a long and debilitating illness in a Kerrville care center. She was born Linda Ann Starr on January 17, 1968 to Florence Hanney Starr and Harold Starr in Pottsville, PA. \r\n\r\nOn August 23, 1991 Linda was united in marriage with Roy A. Rodriguez in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her father Harold. She is survived by her husband Roy A. Rodriguez of Bandera, TX; her mother Florence; daughter Mischele A. Rodriguez of Kerrville; son Mathew David Starr Rodriguez of Kerrville; sister Diane M. Deeds and husband Barry of Lake Wynonah, PA; brothers Harold J. Starr and his wife Sylvia of Pottsville, PA, Alan J. Starr and his wife Colleen of Orwigsburg, PA, Ken Starr and wife Kim of Sabina, OH and also one grandchild Lila Belle Smith of Kerrville, TX.\r\n\r\nLinda was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend. She treasured the relationships formed as a result of her nursing career. She served God as a devout Catholic. She served her country honorably for many years in the United States Navy. Roy and Linda were long time residents of Bandera.\r\n\r\nA visitation will be held at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 1:00 - 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 2:00 PM with interment to follow in the new Catholic Cemetery with Military Honors.\r\n\r\n
