Linda Elizabeth Taylor Brown, 68, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away peacefully in her sleep of natural causes on Saturday, July 25th. She was the daughter of Pauline Barr Smith and Horace Lee Smith. She was born December 6th, 1946 in Kilgore, Texas. She later moved to Pampa, Snyder, Houston and Corsicana, Texas. \r\n \r\nShe attended Corsicana High School and graduated with honors. She attended Navarro Junior College and Denver University where she took many medical courses. She then worked as a medical assistant for many years. \r\n \r\nShe married Fred Karcher in 1968. They had two daughters, Kimberly Elizabeth Hellenga and Stacey Michelle Gulle. She later married Travis Brown and live in The Woodlands, Texas and later moved to Kerrville. \r\n \r\nShe is survived by her mother; two daughters; and four grandchildren, Ryan Hellenga (20), Abigail Hellenga (18), Paeton Hellenga (15) and Sadie Gulle (7). She is also survived by cousins, Beverly Murray, Tino Torres, Cody and Becca Murray; and most importantly, her faithful dog and companion, Khloe. \r\n \r\nShe is preceded in death by her father, Horace; husband, Travis; and grandparents, Ruth and Jesse Nichols. \r\n \r\nShe loved music, enjoyed dancing and cooking. She especially had a love for animals. \r\n \r\nServices will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Grimes Funeral Chapels with Ryan Barnett officiating.\r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
