Lillian Reilly Butcher

December 2, 1957 — September 2, 2023

Lillian Reilly Butcher, 65, passed Saturday the 2nd of September after a brief illness. "Lilly", as known to
her friends, was a wonderful loving wife, mother, teacher, and friend. Lilly taught 4th grade at Alkek
Elementary for many years. She loved teaching Math and really enjoyed the children.

Lilly was born in Bartlesville Ok. But relocated to San Antonio as a child. She graduated St. Mary’s
University where she met the love of her life. She was married 44 years. Lilly enjoyed traveling with
friends, fishing, and giving great get togethers. She loved her little ranch in Pipe Creek where she raised
two sons along with chickens, goats, pets, and even some small birds that fell from the nest. Lilly had a
zest for life that drew her many friends in close. She would help anyone if she could.

Lilly left behind her husband Charlie Butcher of Pipe Creek Tx, her sons Charlie (Chach) Butcher of San
Antonio and his partner Josha Hernandez, John Butcher, and his wife Natalie of Seguin Tx.

A memorial service will be held at Grimes Bandera Funeral Chapel at 11 am, September 16, 2023.

In lieu of flowers Lilly would ask that a donation be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
