Lewis Edward Cosby, Chief Petty Officer, United States Navy, Retired, passed away suddenly Tuesday, April 28, 2015. It was his 70th birthday. He was born in Tulsa, OK.\r\n \r\nHe is survived by his loving wife, Linda; sons, Jeff and Jason; brother, Walt; grandchildren, Emily and Austin; great granddaughters, Ellie and Melody.\r\n \r\nChief Cosby served proudly in the United States Navy from 1964-1986. He was an aviation electrician mate serving on several aircraft carriers. He volunteered for recruiting duty and moved to Kerrville in 1981 with his family, where they still reside. He loved to read, listen to music, watch movies and ride his motorcycle. Most of all he loved his family, friends and even strangers. He had a heart of gold and would give it freely. If you needed a shirt and a shirt was all he had, he would give it happily.\r\n \r\nA casual memorial service will be held Saturday, May 9th, 2015 at Freedom Hall, 3804 Riverside Drive, Kerrville, https://www.facebook.com/LazyDogSportsBar?fref=ts. Taps and 21 gun salute will begin at 1:30 PM.
