Leroy Erfurt

Leroy Erfurt, 93, of Boerne, passed away on February 18, 2019 in Boerne. He was born in Tarpley, Texas to Ella and Henry William Erfurt on March 7, 1925. He Married Lois Maxfeldt on August 20, 1960 in San Antonio Texas.\r\n\r\nHe served his country honorably and was one of the Greatest Generation. Leroy was an active member of the VFW. \r\n\r\nLeroy is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Hilda Caldwell and her husband Jack; brother, Arthur Erfurt and his wife Georgia Mae.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lois; his daughter, Linda Erfurt of San Antonio; son, David Erfurt and his wife Leslie of Boerne; grandchildren, William Z. Erfurt and Monica Garcia, Wyatt Erfurt, Emma Grace Erfurt and Claire Erfurt; and many neices and nephews as well as many extended family members. \r\n\r\nA Visitation will be Thursday, February 21, 2019 from12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera. Interment to follow at Tarpley Cemetery with Military Honors.\r\n\r\nMemorials may be given to the VFW.
