Leonia Hughes

Mrs. Leonia McCray Hughes (Aunt Bell) went home to see the Lord on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. Mrs. Hughes was born to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Jim and Lela Henderson on February 9, 1941 in Marshall, Texas.\r\n \r\nShe was raised in Texarkana, Arkansas and in 1963, relocated to Kerrville, Texas with her daughter.\r\n \r\nLeonia Hughes is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Brenda Coleman of Kerrville, Texas; two grandchildren, Jacquline Bolden (husband, Jeremy Bolden) of Denton, Texas and George Waring of Kerrville, Texas; eight great grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Grace Pennick and Juanita Owens of Kerrville, Texas, and Margarite Woodberry and Ola Mae Collins of Texarkana, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be held from 8 AM-8 PM, Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels. \r\n \r\nHome going services will be held at 1 PM, Monday, May 8, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories North Cemetery. Repast will be held at 111 W. Davis St., Kerrville, Texas.\r\n \r\n
