Lee Scott Stewart, 55, of Comfort, TX passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018, at his residence. Lee was born in Butler, Pennsylvania to Carrie Adeline White Stewart and Harold Dean Stewart on August 26, 1963. Lee and his wife, Dora Gonzalez, of Kerrville, TX, were married 21 years. \r\n \r\nLee was a Tivy graduate, Class of '82 and attended TSTI in Waco, TX. Lee worked for Gouache Mapping Co. which was in Comfort, TX, Lasmer Industries and his last 13+ years was a Quick Lane Service Advisor at Ken Stoepel Ford. \r\n \r\nLee volunteered for the Comfort Fire Department, and was always ready to give a hand to anyone that needed it. Lee enjoyed playing golf, but only on beautiful days, hunting and fishing. Lee and Dora enjoyed putting their toes in the sand when visiting the coast.\r\n \r\nLee was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Carrie Stewart.\r\n \r\nLee is survived by his wife Dora Gonzalez, his brothers Dean and wife Laurie, and Greg Stewart. Lee had three nephews, Robert, Jeff and Scott Stewart and their families, and two nieces, Brooke Noel Griffin, and Mary Katherine Sanchez and husband David, and great niece Sophia Marisol.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Friday, December 28, 2018, at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lee's honor to K'Star or Peterson Hospice. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Klaus Schroeder, Dr. Christopher Bogave, Dr. Rebecca Barrington, and Helping Hands of the Heart, Peterson Hospice, and their staffs.
