Laura Isela Gonzalez 43 years old of Center Point, TX went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2018. She was born in Corpus Christi, TX to Josefina Rodriguez and Jose Reynaldo Gonzalez Sr. on March 21, 1975.\r\n \r\nShe graduated from Sinton, Texas. Laura was an administrative professional working in various fields with various businesses such as San Patricio Appraisal District, financial institutions in Sinton and HEB in Corpus Christi, TX. While residing in Georgia she worked for the Southeast Georgia Hospital system. Upon returning to Texas she worked for Ricks Furniture Co. in Kerrville, TX and other various businesses.\r\n\r\nLaura is preceded in death by her beloved Grandmother Esperanza Rodriguez. \r\n\r\nLaura is survived by her fiancée and childhood sweetheart, Arturo Gonzalez Jr. of Sinton, TX, her daughter, Mia Faye Gonzalez; her brother Jose Reynaldo Gonzalez Jr. and fiancée Carmen Molina and daughter Betsy; her mother Josefina Holt and stepfather Roger Holt of Center Point, TX; Uncle Hector and aunt Naomi Rodriguez; Uncle Juan and aunt Elva Rodriguez; Aunt Rachel and uncle Joe Cantu; Special mention to her cousins who loved her dearly, Mario Olivarez from Mission Texas, Shane Olivarez from Rio Grande City, TX, Marco Olivarez of Mission, Texas, Joshua Rodriguez from Austin, TX, Sabrina Rodriguez from Mission, TX and Yesenia Tahir from Hawaii, Paula and Nancy Garcia from Mission TX, Kimberly Holt from Ormond Beach, FL and Eric Holt from Leesburg, FL. \r\n\r\nRosary will be at 6pm Thursday, November 15th, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville, TX.\r\n\r\nFuneral mass will be held at 10am Friday, November 16th, 2018 at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Father Gustavo presiding. Private burial will follow at a later date and time with immediate family members present. \r\n\r\nPallbearers will be as follows: Arturo Gonzalez Jr., Jose R. Gonzalez Jr., Mario Olivarez, Shane Olivarez, Hector Rodriguez, and Josue Rodriguez.\r\n\r\nThe family wishes to thank the San Antonio Specialty and Transplant Hospital in the Medical Center, to all the doctors and nurses and hospital staff that gave my daughter their all in giving her the awesome care and love and compassion. A big Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. They made it possible to spend time with our beloved Laurie to be with her till the end. \r\n\r\nSpecial thanks to our Father God in Heaven us to be a part of Laurie's life and will cherish the beautiful memories and footprints she left in our hearts forever.
