Laura Ann Delgadillo Balentine, age 49, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed away on June 20, 2017. Laura was born in January 1968 to parents, Felix and Lavina Delgadillo. \r\n\r\nLaura was raised in Kerrville, TX, attended and graduated from Tivy High School and played in the Antler Band. Laura, having a very kind and generous heart had many friends, and all who met her immediately fell in love with her. Laura met the love of her life and soul partner, Jim Balentine of Baton Rouge, LA. They were married on January 8, 1991. Laura's joy for life inspired all who met her.\r\n\r\nLaura is predeceased by her father, Felix Delgadillo, father in law, Claude Balentine, and brother Danny Delgadillo. She is survived by her husband, USAF Retired Capt James (Jim) Balentine, mother, Lavina Delgadillo, brothers; Gino (Cindy) Delgadillo, and Gabe Delgadillo, mother in law, Sally Balentine , and sisters in law; Barbara Knight and Karen Hurdle.\r\n\r\nA funeral service will be conducted on Friday, June 23 at 2:00 PM at Emerald Coast Funeral Home in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, June 22 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Emerald Coast Funeral Home. \r\n\r\nRosary will be 6 PM, Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville.\r\n \r\nMass will be 2 PM, Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Notre Dame Catholic Church with interment following at Guadalupe Cemetery. \r\n\r\nIn lieu flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice in Laura's name.
