Larue Vance

LaRue Davis Vance, 84, of Kerrville, died February 3, 2019. She was born October 26, 1934 in Umbarger, Texas, to Frances Elizabeth and William E. Davis. She married Bill J. Vance on February 3, 1958 and he precedes her in death. Also preceding her in death, one granddaughter, Lauren Vance.\r\n \r\nLaRue "Lash" was one of 6 children and is survived by her sister, Camilla (CJay) Greenfield of Montgomery, Texas and preceded in death by siblings, William Jr., Laura, Burton and Frank.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by her four devoted children and their spouses, Leslie (Doug) Lidiak, Amy (Rob) Turner, Lindsey Miller and Joel (Terri) Vance. Also surviving, her beloved 11 grandchildren, Lance (Beth) Lidiak, Jordan (Makenna) Lidiak, Brennen Lidiak, Cole (Emily) Lidiak, Miles Walker, Vance Miller, Lark (Jack) Davis, Jackson Miller, Megan Vance, Ashley Vance, and Brooke Vance along with 5 great-grandchildren, Taylor and Brynn Lidiak, Parker and Elliot Lidiak, and Henry Davis.\r\n \r\nPrivate funeral service and burial will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Alamo Hospice for their excellent care and support. \r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alamo Hospice of Kerrville. \r\n
