Larry Plaster

Larry Max Plaster passed from this life on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. He will always be remembered by his thunderous, bass voice, his fierce love of family and his kindness to give second chances. He loved "Our most gracious, heavenly Father" with his whole heart. Larry was a local businessman owning Plaster's Electronics Radio Shack from 1973 to 1988 and Golf Cars and Care from 1999 to 2010, as well as various other adventures. \r\n\r\nLarry was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was born on a day selected by his father, November 11, 1942. He married the love of his life, Linda Knox Plaster, December 30, 1961 and they were married for nearly 57 years upon his death. Larry is survived by his wife, Linda, his children Penny Light (Tom), Max Plaster (Lori), Vicky Brand (Greggory), Judy Cuellar (Rodney), and Laura McGuire (Timothy); seventeen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters, Ruth Plaster Simmang, and Edith Plaster Scottow (Bill), numerous in-laws that he counted as his own sisters, as well as many nieces, nephews and so many others who loved him and whom he loved.\r\n\r\nLarry was a member of the Riverside Church of Christ. A memorial service will be held there, 625 Harper Rd, Kerrville, Texas, at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2018. Flowers are welcome; however, the Plaster family supports several Christian colleges, so you may donate to the Riverside Church of Christ for a Christian College scholarship.
