Larry Larsen

Larry Charles Larsen, Sr, 80 of Pipe Creek Texas passed away at home on Sunday November 13, 2022.

He passed away due to complications from Alzheimer's. He was born December 26, 1941, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Clarence and Doris Larsen (Brown).

He met and married his first wife, Katherine Williams in April 1960 while serving a mission for his church. He was a man dedicated to his family and his church. When not performing the daily tasks of owning and operating a business, Larry spent much of his time researching his family roots, talking with others about his religious beliefs and providing love and support however he could. He enjoyed spending whatever time he could with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

After the passing of his first wife, Larry met and married Eileen Edwards. The two of them would spend the next 32 years together.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Katherine, oldest son Johnny, sister Janice, and grandson Richard.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen Larsen (Edwards), children Craig Shelton of Pipe Creek, Texas, Amber Lobato of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Laura Shelton of Custer City, Oklahoma, Steven Shelton of Custer City, Oklahoma, Robin Sheldon of Lacey, Washington, Richard Larsen of Lacey, Washington, Larry Larsen, Jr of San Antonio, Texas, Jerry Larsen of Waxahachie, Texas, Mat Larsen of Greenwood, Arkansas, Angel Larsen of Bothell, Washington, sister Carol Childers, Brother Gerald Larsen, 38 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren as well as many nephews, nieces and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at noon Friday, November 18, 2022, at Pipe Creek Cemetery: 1134 FM 1283, Pipe Creek, Texas 78063 with a reception to follow at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 203 Stonegate Road, Boerne, Texas 78006.
