Kyle McMahan Wright, age 76 of Ingram, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015 in Kerrville. He was born in Kerrville on August 11, 1938 to Chester Wright and Elsie (McMahan) Wright.\r\n \r\nHe graduated from Tivy High School in 1956 and attended Wharton Junior College for 2 years on a football scholarship. He then attended Texas Tech in Lubbock.\r\n \r\nKyle served six months active duty in the U.S. Army at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, then 5 1/2 years in the U.S. Army Reserves.\r\n \r\nHe moved to San Marcos, TX in 1962 and went to work for Bollman Industries, Inc., a wool processing plant. In 1980, along with two partners, he purchased the company and moved the plant to San Angelo, TX. He left the company and moved back to Kerrville in 1987.\r\n \r\nKyle married Ardis Webb in Kerrville in 1990, and after retiring, they enjoyed traveling many miles in their RV. They also loved to fish for trout on their trips to Port Aransas. Kyle was an avid hunter and fisherman.\r\n\r\nKyle was pre-deceased by his parents and his first wife, Jeanine Martin.\r\n \r\nHe is survived by his wife, Ardis; his daughter, Amanda Faye Nelson (James); two step-daughters, Linda Willett (Scott) of New Braunfels, TX, and Lisa Webb of Kerrville; two grandsons, Tanner and Mason Nelson; three step-grandchildren, Chase Willett, Taylor Willett, and Clayton Stricker; and five step-great grandchildren, Ean, Jude, Brylee, Max and Watson.\r\n \r\nServices will be held Thursday, April 16, 2015, 2 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Rev. Randall Hilburn. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.\r\n \r\nMemorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.\r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
