Kelly Scott "K.J." Kretzer, Jr. age 17, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 17, 2018. He was born August 4, 2000 in San Antonio, Texas to Joy Rolfe and Kelly Scott Kretzer, Sr.\r\n\r\nK.J. loved his country music, pick up trucks and Texas. He was the life of the party and never met a stranger. K.J. was very strong in his faith and loved The Lord. K.J. was a great pool player and he loved fishing, especially bow fishing and hanging out with his friends. Even though he only lived 17 years, he truly lived life to the fullest.\r\n\r\nK.J. was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Richard Rolfe, Nancy Coyne-Grell and her second husband Charles Grell. \r\n\r\nHe is survived by his parents, Joy and Kelly S. Kretzer, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Theodore and Susan Kretzer; maternal great grandfather, Thomas Coyne; oldest favorite sister, Macey Gratteau-Kretzer; youngest favorite sister, Katie Kretzer; maternal aunts and uncles, Eilleen Weinsteiger and husband Karl, Richard Rolfe and wife Sara and Heidi Teets and husband Ashley; paternal uncles, Curtis Kretzer and Karl Kretzer; maternal cousins, Morgan, Skyler and Scarlett Brown, Heather, Charles and Andrew Weinsteiger, Kayla Rolfe Orowson and Logan Rolfe; many other dear extended family members, treasured friends and above all his faithful dachshund, Tunder, who saved K.J.'s life three times. \r\n\r\nA graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Pipe Creek Cemetery. All who knew K.J. and the family are welcome to participate in a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM at Western Heritage Cowboy Church on Saturday, June 23, 2018 with Youth Pastor Tyson Kraft officiating.\r\n\r\nPlease bring your favorite main dish, side or dessert so that all may enjoy food and fellowship following the service.
