Kent Ficker, age 68 of Mountain Home, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 in a San Antonio hospital. He was born July 12, 1950 in Brady, TX to U.V. "Slim" and Silva Gean (Degal) Ficker. \r\n \r\nKent was a loving son, father, brother and uncle. He proudly served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a dedicated employee with A&A Tire for over 30 years where he met and made many good friends.\r\n \r\nHe was preceded in death by parents; and nephew, Aaron Gray.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include son, Toby Ficker, Josh Ficker and Brandon Johnson; daughter, Crystal Valderez; sisters, Patricia Gray (Charles), Tracy Ficker and Porsha Schultz (Kerry); brothers, Danny Ficker Sr., Ernest Ficker and Mark Ficker; nieces and nephews, Missy, Cody, Danny Jr., Cecil, Annette, Jerrod, Nicole, Kary, and James; and many great-nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his companion, Shellie; and his four legged friend, Baby.\r\n \r\nMemorial visitation will be held from 3-5 PM, Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n
