Katie Lynn Fiedler, 57, of Center Point, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Kerrville, Texas to T.H. "Butch" and Betty Lackey on October 3, 1959. She married James Fiedler on June 21, 1980 in Camp Verde.\r\n \r\nKatie went to Center Point High School. She worked in her family's feed store, then was in medical billing for 20 years. James and Katie fostered children for 25 years.\r\n \r\nKatie was preceded in death by her father; her husband; and her granddaughter, Piper Harris.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by her children, Michelle Botkin (Ty), Stephanie Griffin (Byron), Siddiq Frazier, Beeba Harris (Paul), Athena Fiedler, Ali Frazier, Jeannette "Cissy" Fiedler, Shelby Fiedler (Demetris), Riad Frazier, Christopher Frazier, Kaitlyn Fiedler, Symone Fiedler, Aeliyah Fiedler, Amya Fiedler, Joel Fiedler and Avery Fiedler; her special children, Clay and Riley Hotchkiss; her mother, Betty Lackey; her brothers, Tommy Lackey, Ronnie Lackey (Brenda), Larrel Lackey (Pollen); her sisters, Terry Lockaby (Robert) and Glenda Lackey; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and the hundreds of foster children over 25 years.\r\n \r\nServices will be held at a later date to be determined.\r\n \r\nMemorials may be given to Peterson Regional Medical Center, Peterson Hospice or a charity of one's choice.\r\n \r\nThe family of Katie Fiedler wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Center Point Community, Peterson Regional Medical Center, the nursing staff at ACC IV Therapy, Dr. Young and the nurses/aides of Peterson Hospice, Dr. Rebecca Barrington and Dr. Alyson Redmond.\r\n
