Kathleen Rose Norwood, 83, of Somerville, TX, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2017 at her home. She was born in San Antonio, TX, to John W. and Lilly Pearl Schmidt\r\n on August 15, 1933. She was married to William A. Norwood.\r\n\r\nShe is preceded in death by her husband, William A. Norwood; parents, John and Lilly Schmidt.\r\n\r\nKathleen is survived by her daughter, Kathy Frisbie; son, Randy O. Norwood; grandchildren, Melissa R. Preston, Jeff E. Frisbie, Jennifer R. Norwood and Michelle Norwood, Fernando Lazos and Maria Lazos; great grandchildren, Alexander Thorn Porter, Katlyn R. Preston, Anya Frisbie, Kayla Frisbie, Kourtney Frisbie, Alberto Owen Norwood, Isabella Rose Norwood, Karson Lazos and Hudson Lazos. \r\n\r\nA Visitation will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Grimes Chapel of Bandera.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dick Sisk of the Tarpley Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Tarpley Cemetery.\r\n\r\nPallbearers will be Shawn Preston, Steven Langner, Fernando Lazos, Charles Pribilski and Orlando. Honorary Pallbearer is Donald Preston.
