Kathleen Macrae

Kathleen Ann Boddy MacRae, age 73 of Kerrville, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at her residence. She was born April 4, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio. Her parents were William Reginald Boddy and Eleanor Ruth Boddy, both deceased.\r\n \r\nKathleen graduated from Kent State University receiving a Bachelors Degree in Education. Upon graduating, she married the love of her life, Robert M. MacRae on November 27, 1965. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary November 27, 2015.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by her loving husband, Robert M. MacRae of Kerrville, Texas; two brothers, William T. Boddy of Olmstead Falls, Ohio and Geoffrey B. Boddy of Cleveland, Ohio; brother-in-law, William D. MacRae and wife, Dorothy of Summerfield, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nWhile living in Kerrville, she mentored two boys. She and her husband delivered meals for Dietert Center.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held 3 PM, Monday, May 2, 2016 at Grimes Funeral Chapels, officiated by Father Scott Janysek and Rev. Brett Coe. \r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dietert Center (Meals on Wheels), the American Cancer Society or to Peterson Hospice.\r\n
