Katherine Walker

Katherine Mae Walker, age 64 of Harper, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 at her residence. She was born November 19, 1950 in Fredericksburg to Ervin A. and Josephine Mae (Pehl) Wahrmund. On November 7, 1970, she married Hollis Wayne Walker in Junction.\r\n \r\nKatherine worked for Durrin's Cleaners for over 20 years. \r\n \r\nShe was a loving wife, mother and loved her grandkids.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include brother, Vernon Wahrmund and wife, Sharon; sons, Hollis Arthur Walker, Bradley Walker and wife, Holly and Charley Walker and wife, Cindy; grandchildren, Ethan, Annette, Angel, Cydney, Baylee and Marti; and mother in law, Ollie Walker.\r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by husband, Hollis Wayne Walker; son, Robert Wayne Walker; parents, Ervin and Josephine Wahrmund; brothers, Ervin Wahrmund Jr. and Anthony Wahrmund; and sister, Josephine Wahrmund Conner.\r\n \r\nRecitation of the Rosary will be Wednesday, February 18, 2015, 6 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nMass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 19, 2015, 10 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Harper with Father Martin Garcia as celebrant. Interment will follow at Harper Cemetery.\r\n \r\nPallbearers will be Bobby Wahrmund, Michael Wahrmund, Johnnie Wahrmund, Glen Wahrmund, Gary Wahrmund, Charles Conner, Melvin Glen Conner and William Wahrmund.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harper Volunteer Fire Department and EMS.\r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
