Katey Skains

Katey Lynn Skains, age 27 of Kerrville, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 in a San Antonio hospital. She was born August 25, 1990 in Kerrville to Wesley and Stacey Skains. \r\n \r\nKatey was of the Christian faith and was an animal lover. She was a great mom and was always taking care of her daughter. She loved to work in her yard, was a great artist, loved dancing and being with her friends. She also loved to cook and spend time with her Granny. Katey was very outspoken and would speak her mind.\r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her mother, Stacey Skains.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include her daughter, Skyley Skains of Kerrville; father, Wesley Skains (Chrissy) of Kerrville; grandmother, Darlene Moore of Kerrville; great-grandmother, Dorothy Boatright of Kerrville; sister, Delany Sansom of Kerrville; brothers, Chance Skains of Kerrville and Austin Sansom of Austin; aunt and uncle, Lanette and Royce Kerbow of Kerrville; and numerous other aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.\r\n \r\nServices will be held at 10 AM, Friday, May 18, 2018 at Calvary Temple Church officiated by Pastor Del Way. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.\r\n \r\nPallbearers will be Ricky Boyan, Royce Kerbow, Terry Napolitan and Michael Way.\r\n
