Karrina Annette Brooks was born July 9, 1976 in Groton, Connecticut. She is preceded in death by her father, Bradford Brooks. She beautifully and peacefully walked through the Gates of Heaven on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the age of 38. Karrina was eternally healed from her long fight with cancer.\r\n\r\nMoments before her passing, Karrina told her mother Kimberly, "Mom, I see my two fathers," and said, "There are so many people!" She also described visions of angels, conversations with a kind man, and told Jarrett that she met "The King". In her parting words, she reminded everyone that "It is not about us" and "I'm alright…it's going to be okay". Always thinking of her children, Karrina promised Jarrett and Kinsey that she would be waiting for them at Heaven's Gates.\r\n\r\nKarrina is survived by her son Jarrett Lyle, daughter Kinsengton Baldwin, brother Justin Brooks, mother Kim Brooks, nieces Miranda and Ella Brooks, many loving extended family members, friends, and Soul sisters Vicky Leal, Jeanie Heidelberg, Joanna Secor, and Leslie Martin.\r\n\r\nKarrina lived a life of positivity. She wanted everyone to be happy and focus on the good. Her faith in God kept her strong and she wasn't scared, because she knew where she was going.\r\n\r\nKarrina's Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 6pm at the Impact Center in Pipe Creek 454 FM 1283 Pipe Creek, TX 78063.
