Julia 'LaDell' Burnette, age 86, slipped away peacefully to join our Lord and Savior on Saturday, the 21st of January, under the care of Peterson Regional Medical Center. LaDell was born in Junction, Texas to Blaylock C. and Gladys Camp on February 7th 1930. LaDell married Charles D. Burnette on November 1, 1953, in Carlsbad, New Mexico.\r\n \r\nLaDell completed her grade school years in Junction and attended Tarleton State College for two years. Her social campus life overshadowed her classroom responsibilities which lead to the realization she needed to enter the workforce. Her employment search lead her to San Angelo, TX where she gained employment with the Texas Highway Department. It was there she met her soul mate of 63 years.\r\n \r\nJulia LaDell is survived by Charles D. Burnette; children: son, Kelly and his wife Brenda; daughter, Lori and her husband Barry; brother, Joe Billy Camp; grandchildren, Byron, Kaelin, Lauren, Julia, Jamie and Jonathan; great-grandchildren, William, Parker, Olivia, Brianna and Ryan.\r\n \r\nFamily is honoring her wish to proceed with a cremation ceremony as opposed to a traditional grave site burial service. Surviving family will be hosting an uplifting "Celebration of LaDell's Life" on February 18, 2017 at Kerrville Church of Christ. Invitations will be forthcoming specifying time and church location. As a family we have been truly blessed through her love, support and frequent sermons on how to live a Christ centered life. She will be missed but we all who knew her knows she is already busy doing God's work in heaven. Hallelujah\r\n
