Judith J. Rodriguez, beloved wife of Gregory Rodriguez, passed away April 7, 2016. She was born November 17, 1940 in St. Paul, Minnesota, graduated from Johnson High school and married Robert Wosika who enlisted in the Navy. For the next several years they traveled throughout Europe, had three children and eventually settled in San Diego, California.\r\n \r\nJudy studied Nursing for a while after a divorce from her husband. She worked as a supervisor for Sony Corporation raising her children as a single mom. She met Greg Rodriguez at Sony Corporation, got married and retired early, traveling the country in an RV, finally coming to San Antonio where Greg has family.\r\n \r\nSearching for land to buy, they settled in Pipe Creek right on the banks of the beautiful Medina River. When she got bored of being a housewife, she joined several organizations in the Bandera and Medina area. Quilting became a passion for her and she excelled at it. She also loved painting class and was a beautiful painter and artist.\r\n \r\nJudy was past president of the Senior Activity Center, then known as the Senior Center. She was instrumental in acquiring grants and money to build the New Senior Activity Center as it now stands.\r\n \r\nJudy is survived by her husband, Gregory Rodriguez; her daughters, Lisa Wettig of Bandera and Stacy Wosika of Kansas; son, Michael Wosika of California; her sister, Beverly Blackburn of San Antonio; grandchildren, Amanda, Marissa, Jason, Nick, Wesley, Jack and James; great grandchildren, Chance, Amelia, Sophia and Aleyna.\r\n \r\nShe will be greatly missed by all who knew her.\r\n\r\nA family visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, April 15, 2016 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera.\r\n\r\n\r\n
