Judith Ferles Harris (Judy), age 84 of Kerrville, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018. She was born in Chicago in 1934. \r\n\r\nAs a child, she spent time on her family tobacco farm in Kentucky with her father, mother and brother. The family moved to Tucson, Arizona when Judy was a teenager where she enjoyed riding horses and driving her yellow convertible through the desert. She went to Arizona State where she gained a reputation for playing pool and won the State Championship. She married and moved to College Station. Judy was in the first female class at Texas ATM. After college they moved to Houston, Texas where she raised her children and passionately pursued art and made a name for herself. She adventured down to Fredericksburg, Texas in 1983. She loved to go to Luckenbach to play guitar and listen to music. She operated a B&B and continued her love for art. Judy could paint, draw, carve, build, or sculpture anything she put her heart into. She eventually moved to Kerrville, Texas where she resided and called home for many years. She is a true Texas Hill Country gal and as her dear friend at Edgewater said she had a fearless soul. \r\n \r\nShe leaves behind 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. \r\n \r\nShe is loved and will be truly missed. We love you GG and can't wait to see how you add more color to heaven with your paintbrush! \r\n
