Juanita "Nita" Jones, born February 22, 1936 in Thorton, TX to John and Emma Beard, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at her home in Ingram, TX. \r\n \r\nShe was the last of 10 children. All of her siblings have gone to be with the Lord.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by her husband of 63 years, Joseph "Joe" Jones of Ingram; sons, Howard "Sonny" Jones of Ingram and Rickey Jones and wife, Darla of Ingram; son-grandson, John Jones and wife, Jennifer of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Rickey Jones Jr. and wife, Emily, Kellisha Yeoman, Chad Crider and wife, Brittany, and Morris Crider; great grandchildren, Andrea Jones, Jake Stringfellow, Zek Mejia, Michael Ray Jones, Cameron Crider, Logan Crider, Breanna Crider, Kali Crider and Zachary Crider; sister in law, Betty Beard; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; her church family; and her very special friend, Billie Lynn and husband, Jim.\r\n \r\nNita was the best mother and grandmother. She was full of love and life. \r\n \r\nNita was a member of Living Tree Baptist Church. She was also the past president of the PTA when her children were in school. \r\n \r\nVisitation will be held 5:30-7 PM on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nServices will be held 2 PM, Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Living Tree Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Thomas Jeffers. Interment will follow at Nichols Cemetery.\r\n \r\nPallbearers will be Michael Dollins, Ben Loosmore, John Jones, Rickey Jones Jr., Chad Crider and Jake Stringfellow.\r\n \r\nThe family would like to give a very special thanks to Gentiva Hospice who were very good to her and her family, and to her special caregiver, Vnesha Jones, who was very dear to Nita.\r\n \r\nThose who desire, may make memorial donations to Gentiva Hospice.\r\n
