Juanita Martinez Garces, 66, of Kerrville, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 in San Antonio, TX. She was born in Kerrville to Marcelino and Jesusita Martinez on December 11, 1950. She married Daniel Garces Sr. on April 8, 1967 in Kerrville. \r\n \r\nShe attended Notre Dame School in Kerrville. She worked as a homemaker. She pastored with Rev. Daniel Garces Sr. at The Rosa De Saron Pentecostal Church in Ingram, TX. She taught Sunday School and would love to sing in every service. She was married to Daniel Garces Sr., the love of her life, and they were to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in April. She was loved by many and would make sure you had a good meal. She was the wisdom, humor, and on call therapist for every problem and would always pray for family members without leaving anyone out. She will be greatly missed by family and friends and her favorite song gives us guidance, "One Day At Time." \r\n \r\nJuanita was preceded in death by her parents, Marcelino and Jesusita Martinez; and sister, Lydia Alvarado. \r\n \r\nJuanita is survived by her husband, Daniel Garces Sr.; son, Daniel Garces Jr. and wife Sandra Garces; son, Richard Garces; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Austin, Alec, Blanca, Theresa, Jasmine, and Ashley; and 3 great grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, and Eveny. \r\n \r\nPrayer services will be held at 6 PM, Thursday, February 9th, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Rev. Samuel Montoya. \r\n \r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, February 10, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels with Rev. Samuel Montoya officiating. Burial will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery. \r\n \r\nPallbearers will be Jesse Alvarado, HT Cooke, David Garces, Joe Myners, Jimmie Davila, and Luis Venegas. \r\n
