Mr. Jose Arreola Martinez, age 75 of Kerrville, TX passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in a Kerrville hospital. He was born on September 23, 1940 in Kerrville to Amado Trevino & Elvera Arreola Martinez. He was a retired truck driver for Mayflower Moving & Storage.\r\n He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and went to church just about every Sunday and cooked for the church and helped with errands and repairs at the church. His last part time job was with Mr. Scott Rogers and Comanche Trace.\r\n Survivors are: three daughters, Pat Martinez, Vivian Martinez and Helen Martinez, all of Kerrville; one son, Christopher Kirby; former wife, Ernestina Rios Martinez; six sisters, Mary Martinez, Rosie Juarez, Conrey Guerrero, Diane Villarreal, Nancy Lozano & Flora Sarrina, all of Kerrville; one brother, Raul Martinez; four grandchildren, Nico, Noah, Gilby & Sebastian; two great grandchildren, Atreyu & Zion Castillo and numerous nieces & nephews.\r\n He was preceded in death by two son, Jesus Martinez and Jose Martinez and four brothers, Nacho, Jesus, Walter & Amado, Jr.\r\n Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels with Pastor Ken Foster officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.\r\n The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n Pallbearers will be: Nico Castillo, Gilby Clarke, Sebastian Martinez Fenselman, Raul Martinez, Robert Martinez, Walter Martinez, Shane Clark, Noah Martinez and Joshua Rodriguez.KERRVILLE.
