John Rose

John Gary Rose, age 70 of Kerrville, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 in a local hospital. He was born June 7, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio to John Elmer Rose and Lena (Tracey) Rose. On June 8, 2004, he married Amanda Ann Plaisance in Kerrville.\r\n \r\nJohn served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. \r\n \r\nHe was an advocate for the elderly and, while living in Lancaster, Ohio, he built and ran homes for the elderly.\r\n \r\nJohn was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Nathan John Rose.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include wife, Amanda Rose; children, Phillip Morgan Rose, Byron Marshall Rose and Paul Michael Rose; and step-children, Tanya Seifert, Terra Binkley, Shannon Pierce and Ronnie J. Dupre Jr.\r\n \r\nNo services will be held.\r\n
