John Murray

John Fredrick (Sparky) Murray, age 80, of Kerrville, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 in Kerrville. He was born in San Angelo, Texas to Fredrick and Inez Elizabeth Martin Murray on June 29, 1938. He married the former Sandra Zoe Norris on April 20, 1962 in Kerrville.\r\n\r\nHe and his wife Sandra were the owners of Heart of the Hills Taxidermy until they retired. John was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Both John and Sandra were members of the First United Methodist Church of Kerrville, and founded Mustard Seed Ministries.\r\n\r\nJohn was preceded in death by his wife Sandra on March 21, 2016, and his parents Fredrick and Inez.\r\n\r\nJohn is survived by his daughters, Tracy Leigh Frantzen (Tim) and Teri Lynn Perryman (Kevin) all of Kerrville; his sister, Sandra Willie of Seguin, Texas; five grandchildren, Matthew Doyle, Caitland Foyt (Travis), Jillian Doyle, Patience Conley (Chris) and Elise Perryman; as well as three Great-grandchildren, Kyler Herbert, Kyra Conley and Gaige Conley. \r\n\r\nFuneral Services will be held at 10AM Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church of Kerrville with Pastor Donna Magee officiating. \r\n\r\nMemorials may be given to Mustard Seed Ministries of the First United Methodist Church of Kerrville.\r\n\r\n\r\n
