John Dozier

John Clifton Dozier, 57, of Ingram TX, passed away on June 14, 2015 in Gillespie County. He was born in San Juan, TX to J.V. and Gloria Dozier on September 28, 1957. He married the love of his life, Donna Furr, on June 17, 2006 in Kerrville, TX. \r\n \r\nHe graduated from Tivy High School in 1975, then attended Hallmark Aero-tech in San Antonio, TX where he later received his FAA Inspection Authorization certification. He had a life long career as an aircraft mechanic. His passions in life were antique cars, books, the NRA, aviations, but most of all his family. \r\n \r\nJohn is preceded in death by his father J.V. Dozier. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna; his three daughters, Sharity Creacy, Wanda Dozier, Jessica Elks and her husband Caleb; two brothers, James "Jim" Dozier, Robert "Skeeter" Dozier and his wife Laurie; his sister, Anne Dozier; mother, Gloria Dozier; his three grandchildren, Courtney Creacy, James Fowler, and Shelby Creacy; great grandchildren, Jacob and Trinity; nephews, Josh and Lincoln Melvin; niece, Katy Dozier; life long friends Julius, Marvin, Danny, and Don; and an abundance of extended family and friends. \r\n \r\nServices will be held Thursday, June 25th at 10 a.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville with his brother officiating.
