John Brzezinski Jr.

January 9, 1951 — May 22, 2021

John Charles Brzezinski, Jr. 70, of Pipe Creek, passed away suddenly on May 22, 2021 at his home. John was making coffee, editing bird photos and listening to music when the Good Lord called him home. John wouldn't have wanted it any other way. John was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on January 9, 1951 to John and Rita Brzezinski. He married Debra Kay Scott on June 14, 1986 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in San Antonio. He was "John-Dear" to his wife, "Juan-John," "Dougie" and "dad" to his kids, "Jack Birch" to his fellow bird nerds and photography buffs, and "Dziadziu" to his grandkids. John believed that the day he married Debbie, the best part of his life began. He said that he loved her today more than the day they were married, more than yesterday, and even more than just a moment before. John found great joy in raising his children and celebrated the growth of his family with the addition of his son and daughters-in-law and his grandchildren. John was a man unlike any other. He was fiercely devoted, unfailingly kind, and unapologetically himself. He loved fast cars, loud guitars, a good deal on e-bay, tinkering with his pizza recipe, photo1graphing all the birds of Texas, wandering the National Parks, snuggling with his dogs, playing with his grandkids and traveling with Debbie. John's faith in the Lord was boundless and he believed whole-heartedly in the power of prayer. Every day John talked to God, entrusting him with his worries, thanking him for his mercies and blessings and asking for the guidance to be a better man for the loved ones in his life. He taught all of his children to pray with the same simplicity and trust. John was a true prayer warrior. John is preceded in death by his parents, John and Rita Brzezinski, and his parents-in-law, Jim and Janice Scott. He is survived by his wife, Debbie, daughter Taylor Briggle (Hayden) of Austin, sons Trey (Theresa) of San Antonio, Cameron (Sophia) of Bandera, brother Bob of Pipe Creek, sisters Elise Rickman (Dennis) of Georgetown, KY, Bonnie Dennis (Joe) of Boerne, Denise Rucker (Mike) of Round Rock, and grandchildren Finley, Cannon and Brooks Briggle, Londyn Hild and Owyn Brzezinski. He also leaves behind his beloved sisters-in-law Paula Sachse of Boerne and Melody Monda of San Antonio, his confidants, best friends and brothers-in-law Michael Sachse and Barry Monda, as well as countless other friends and family members. A Rosary will be held at 6:30 P.M., Monday, May 31, 2021 at Grimes Funeral Chapel. A visitation will follow the Rosary. Mass will be held at 12 P.M., Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with Father John Nolan and Monsignor Frank Kurzaj officiating. A memorial fund in honor of John has been set up by the family. Donations will go to the South Padre Island Birding & Nature Center where John spent countless hours birdwatching, honing his photography skills and passing on his love of birds to everyone he knew.= https://everloved.com/life-of/john-brzezinski-jr/
