John Beck

John E. Beck, age 89, of Center Point, Texas passed away on September 18, 2014. He was born in Winchester, Idaho to Rudolph and Susan Beck. He married Shirley Ann Griffin on February 20, 1948 in Bellaire, Texas.\r\n\r\nHe served in both the United States Coast Guard and Navy. He continued serving in the Reserve until 1947. He was with the Post Office for 32 years.\r\n\r\nAfter retiring from the U.S. Postal Service he then joined the staff of R&R Limited at the Kerrville airport. He was the oldest man to get certified from the Harley Davidson Motorcycle course.\r\n\r\nJackie, as he was called by friends and family is survived by his wife Shirley Ann, daughter Jeannie Bardot, sons Steve and Gordon Beck, five Grandsons and three Granddaughters, also Betty Cable and Jack Cable, Sister and Brother In Law.\r\n\r\nThe family of John Beck wishes to extend our sincere thanks to family, friends and associates for their condolences and prayers.\r\n\r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
