Joanne Tyra Terrill, age 60, died peacefully on March 15, 2015 at 6:01 p.m. at her home in Ingram, TX after a long hard-fought struggle with colon cancer. Joanne was born on November 13, 1954, in Alice, TX, the daughter of Thelma Motsinger and Johnny Tyra. Joanne was a graduate of Callahan High School. She was married to Bob Terrill on August 25, 2011.\r\n She was an amazing mother and grandmother and was always there for her family and friends. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren, baking each grandchild's birthday cake every year and always being there for Grandparent's Day. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, traveling, football season, cooking gourmet meals, shopping at estate sales and fishing. She last worked as a legal assistant for her daughter, Kimberly.\r\n She is survived by her husband, Bob Terrill; her three children, William Scott Newcomer, Kimberly Fitzpatrick and her spouse, Ryan Gruber and Tammy Leeann Mauldin and her spouse, Thomas Mauldin; her five grandchildren, Whitney Pittman-Masters, Quentin Newcomer, Ella Lorene Fitzpatrick, Clair Morgan Gruber & Liam Scott Mauldin; her siblings, Debbie Smithers, Randy Owen, Jody McKay and Cathy Smith. Also surviving is the father of her three children, Donnell Scott Newcomer and her nephew, Coleman Stringer.\r\n She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.\r\n A memorial service will be held at Grimes Funeral Chapels, 728 Jefferson St., Kerrville, TX on March 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.\r\n On line condolences can be left on Joanne Tyra Terrill's Memorial Tribute at www.yourtribute.com.
