Joan Echols Caddel Willis\r\nJoan was born June 21, 1926 in Camp Wood, Texas, to Harvey and Minnie Echols.She lived in and around Uvalde, Texas for most of her first 55 years of life and moved to Lakehills, Texas in 1984. She married her beloved husband, Gerald A. (Jerry) Willis April 20, 1984 at Pipe Creek, Texas.\r\n\r\nJoan is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Willis; father and mother, Harve and Minnie Echols and brother, Alton Echols; sisters Coralye Ruth, and Mary Sue Higbie and former husband, Earle Caddel.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by her children: Steve Caddel, Lexington, KY, Sandra Caddel Martin, Austin, TX and Dianne McHugh of Uvalde, TX; two step sons: Billy Willis, Early, TX and Steve Smith, Laguna Hills, CA; grandchildren, Andrew, Alexa and Henry Martin; Katey and Jessica Caddel; Ryan and Avery Mcugh; 4 step grand-children, Adam, Zackery and Lincoln Willis and Tavis Smith; great grand children, Allyse and Judas Martin\r\n\r\nA Memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 26, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church in Uvalde. At 300 N. Getty, Uvalde. Rev. David Coello will be officiating.\r\n\r\nMemorials may be given to First Presbyterian Church of Uvalde.
