She was active for many years in the Kerrville Host Lion's Club, was honored as Lion of the Year in 1996/97 and was the Secretary of the club in 1998. She attended several Kerrville area churches through the years including First Baptist and Calvary Temple. She enjoyed music and sang in the choir at First Baptist as well as on the Praise Team at Calvary.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents and husband of over 23 years, James Robert "Bob" Thomas. \r\n\r\nShe is survived by large family including a sister, Chris Kallas and husband, Tom; five children: son, Scott Jay Harris; son, Robert Bonneau Harris and wife, Laurie; daughter, Lori Appleton and husband, David; daughter, Jennifer Wilson and husband, Adam; and son, Billy Dan Maddox; ten grandchildren: Naisha (Harris) Pape (and husband, Shawn), R.J.
