Jessica Wright

Jessica Blair Jones Wright, 48, of Kerrville, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015. She was born December 17, 1966. She married Michael Shannon Wright on January 19, 1994 in Lampasas, TX.\r\n \r\nJessica had such a spirit of love and laughter. Wherever she was, you would find joy. She could light up any room. \r\n \r\nJessica loved and cared for many animals throughout her life. She helped her children with their sheep and pigs for 4-H and FFA.\r\n \r\nShe graduated high school from Robert E. Lee in San Antonio. She gained an associates degree at St. Mary's University in San Antonio and received her Bachelors of Arts degree in education from Schreiner University. She was named to the Dean's List and President's list.\r\n \r\nBecause of her love of children, she taught at Center Point Elementary for the last 6 years where she was named "Teacher of the Month" several times. As a teacher in Center Point, she loved and inspired her students in their education and in their hearts. She was a volunteer in many activities there.\r\n \r\nJessica is preceded in death by her step-father, Macon Banner; grandparents, J.B. Capps, and Claudine and Harvey Jones.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by her husband, Michael and her children, Robert, Tanner, Billy and Jillian Wright; mother, Janis Banner; father, Bill Jones; siblings, Julie Brown, Bliss Vickers and Bryan Jones; grandmother, Dorothy Capps; mother in law, Ree Wright; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.\r\n \r\nJessica was baptized at the age of 12 and represented many Christian values. She was a member of Riverside Church of Christ.\r\n \r\nWe will dearly miss her sunshine sparkling laughter. Heaven is lucky to have such a wonderful, joyous woman. She is now dancing with the angels. \r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, June 27th at Riverside Church of Christ with Stephen LupPlace officiating.\r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
