Jessica Dawn Reeves, 48, of Pipe Creek, Tx, passed away on Tuesday August 22, 2023. Jessica was born to Gary Vernon Gregg and Nelda Ruth Gregg on March 15, 1975, in San Antonio, Tx. She was a sweet, bright, friendly, humble, caring, and selfless person. She would give you the shirt off her back and was always there for you no matter what. She was an amazing daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, nana, and friend. She was married for 26 years to her loving husband, John Reeves.
She enjoyed being with family, friends and her greatest pride and joys, her grandsons. She was so excited to become a Nana and loved those little boys more than anything. She loved being by any type of body of water. Two weeks before her final moments on earth, she took a family trip to the beach and that made all her worries wash away. She was in her happy place with the ones she loved.
Jessica is preceded in death by her father, Gary Vernon Gregg, and mother-in-law, Norma Johnson.
Jessica is survived by her husband, John Reeves, children: Alyssa Moore (daughter) son in law Keaton Moore and grandsons Kayson and Kalen Moore, Courtney Netherton (daughter) Garrett Reeves (son), Jana Reeves (stepdaughter) and future son in law Derrick Agueros, Jace Reeves (stepson) daughter in law Sydney Reeves, grandsons Reins and Braxton. Nelda Gregg (mother) Johnny Hamill (brother) sister-in-law Robin Hamill, Ashleigh Hamill (niece) and Jared Hamill (nephew), Dewayne Hamill (brother) sister-in-law Patti Hamill, Josh Hamill (nephew) and Jaclyn Hamill (niece).
Although her time on earth may be done, we have faith that she is in her heavenly home with her body restored and full self again. The fights she endured during her last months on earth and stayed so strong during them showed she wasn’t going to give up. Her body needed rest and it was time for her to go home. We celebrate the life of a remarkable woman whose kindness, generosity, and love touched the lives of all she knew.
