Jesse Martinez

Jesse Martinez, 63 passed away at his home on July 23, 2017. He was born July 1, 1954 in Bandera, Texas to Guadalupe Campos Martinez and Pedro Rico Martinez.\r\n\r\nJesse served God as a faithful parishioner of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Army.\r\n\r\nJesse was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Angel Martinez; and his nephew, Jimmy Martinez. \r\n\r\nHe is survived by his children, Debra Lee Martinez, Sammy Luna, Peter Luna, Chris Martinez and their mother Isabel. Also surviving are his sisters, Martha Moreno, Mary De La Fuente and Linda Moran; his brothers, Joe Martinez, Pete Martinez, Ernest Martinez and Johnny Martinez; his grandchildren, Quaid Woodard, Chandler Woodard and Lilee Marie Phillips; as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.\r\n\r\nThe family will receive friends Thursday, July 27th from 5:00 - 6:30 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera followed by recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM, Friday, July 28, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with interment to follow at the New Catholic Cemetery with military honors.
