With joy we announce the going home of Jerry Kral. His last words were “I want Jesus to come.” Jerry was 84 years old and suffering from Parkinson’s Disease. How great he must feel today as he meets his Savior. Jerry was born in Nome, Texas on January 29, 1937, but grew up in Houston, Texas until entering the Air Force.
In 1963 Jerry met a former police officer on the job site. For three months the officer sat with Jery at lunch and showed him scriptures about the Lord dying for him and how the blood washes away all sins. Three months later Easter morning 1963, Jerry received God’s gift of eternal life. Guess where Jerry is today and how long he will be there?
In 1957 Jerry married Elaine Ellis of Houston and they had five children: Jerry Wayne Kral, Terry Sue Pliscofsky, Michael Ray Kral, David William Kral, and James Patrick Kral.
His journey through life; started with Bible College, pastoring churches in Mesquite, Texas; Austin, Texas and Saratoga Springs, New York. Our journey continued back to good ole Texas where he ministered in New Braunfels and Bandera until retirement in 2016.
His journey ends here but he awaits his two loving brothers; two sisters; five children; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and so many that he had a part in their lives in his pastorates. He’s waiting for you. Love and Kisses.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday October 20, 2021, at Polly Cemetery in Pipe Creek.
