Jerry Dall Jackson, age 85, passed away Thursday, October 6th, 2016 in his residence.\r\n \r\nHe was born in Frisco, Oklahoma to Olis and Eva Jackson on September 26, 1931. He married Shirley Ann Harper on October 20th, 1951. Jerry and Shirley spent their early years in Tulia, Texas. Jerry ran a grain elevator for numerous years until deciding to change careers and go to T.V. tech school at night in Amarillo to get his license to repair televisions. He and Shirley and their children moved to Kerrville in 1967 and opened and operated Colorama T.V. for 40 years.\r\n \r\nJerry is survived by his daughter, Theresa Stehling and husband Mike; daughter in law, Gloria Jackson; grandchildren, Clint Stehling and wife Charli, Shala Johnson and husband David, Shann Weyand and husband Marlon Harris, Cindy Meredith and husband James, Cody Jackson and wife Sylvia, Christy Murphy and husband Brian of Dallas, Julie Jackson of Austin; 13 great grandchildren; a special niece, Linda Beck; and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nJerry was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings; wife, Shirley Jackson; son, Rick Jackson; and daughter, Ritha Weyand.\r\n \r\nJerry loved fishing and camping with family and friends in his earlier years. In recent years he loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and loved watching baseball and basketball. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.\r\n \r\nGraveside services will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 10, 2016, at Garden of Memories with Dr. Greg Cummings officiating.\r\n \r\nSpecial thank you to Peterson Hospice and Dr. James Young for their professional and loving care.\r\n
