Jerry Henderson

Mary Geraldine "Jerry" Henderson, age 92 of Ingram, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 in a local care center. She was born April 2, 1926 in Newark, NJ to Thomas Allen and Lucy Black. On May 15, 1954, she married Welton Henderson in Kerrville.\r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Welton Henderson; sisters, Mildred Gray, Ethel Martin and Felicia Antencio; and brothers, Troy Black and Dorman Black.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include son, John Allen Henderson (Winnie) of Ingram; sisters, Vivian Hughes (Joe), Doris Corbin (Bill) and Sue Anderson; grandchildren, Joshua Allen Henderson (Jana Cay) and Jason Lee Henderson (Samantha); great-grandchildren, Tyler Ray Henderson, Trent Wade Henderson and Laramie Lee Henderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be held from 5-7 PM, Monday, May 28, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Rev. Frankie Enloe. Private burial will be at Nichols Cemetery.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peterson Hospice.\r\n \r\n
