Friends are saddened for the death of Jerry Allen Green on 1 March.
A longtime Bandera resident known for his easy smile and tart laconic wit, he found great pleasure hunting and fishing throughout his life. He was a crack shot and Marine Corps avionics tech during the Vietnam War. He knew the hill country well having worked as a state trapper, land surveyor, ranch hand, and hunting guide. He had an encyclopedic firearms knowledge being a gunsmith college graduate. An Eagle Scout, he held to high moral standards of integrity. A proud native Texan.
He will be missed.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bandera Funeral Chapel.
