Jeannetta Reeves

Jeannetta Faye Reeves, age 86 of Kerrville, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 in a local care center. She was born December 22, 1931 in Refugio County, Texas to Willie A. Gilmore and Delia (Ramsey) Gilmore. \r\n \r\nJeannetta was a very independent woman who loved being at home, visiting, cooking and after retirement, she loved to travel. She especially loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. \r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Royce Reeves.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include daughter, Cecilia Heimann (Richard) of Kerrville; sons, Garland Banta (Charlotte) of Stonewall, Rev. John "JM" Reeves (Linda) of State College, PA, and Bob Reeves (Janet) of Kerrville; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be held from 4-6 PM, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nGraveside services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Turtle Creek Cemetery officiated by Rev. Frankie Enloe.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hill Country District Livestock Show Association or Alamo Hospice.\r\n
