Jared Reece

Jared Daniel Reece, age 32, passed away on February 15, 2015 in Austin, TX. He was born August 7, 1982 in Bryan, TX.\r\n \r\nJared graduated from Tivy High School in May, 2000. He attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX and was a member of Delta Chi Fraternity. He also attended Culinary School at The Art Institute in San Antonio, TX.\r\n \r\nJared had a passion for cooking and worked at Rails-A Café at the Depot in Kerrville for several years. He also worked most recently at Comfort Café in Smithville, TX.\r\n \r\nJared was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Margaret Reece and aunt, Ginger Reece.\r\n \r\nJared is survived by his daughter, MaKayla Mae; sister, Nakai Reece; mother, Joanie Reece of Kerrville, TX and father, Allen Reece of Ingleside, TX; maternal grandparents, John and Shirley Cummings; aunt, Phyllis and uncle, R.G. Cook; uncle, Dickie and aunt, Bonnie Reece; aunt, Patty and uncle, Jerry Verstraeten; aunt, Janice Reece; first cousins, Adam and Erica Reece, Trey and Kayla Cook, and Eric Aguirre; nieces and nephews; special friend, Tricia Kinnie; and many other relatives and friends.\r\n \r\nFuneral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Grimes Funeral Chapels with Mr. Michael Acosta officiating.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials to Serenity Star Recovery, 111 NW 1st Street, Smithville, TX 78957, serenitystar.org.\r\n \r\nThe family of Jared Reece wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the medical personnel at North Austin Hospital in Austin, TX.\r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
