Surrounded by her family, Margaret Jane Webb, 87, passed away after a long illness at her home in Kerrville, TX on December 24, 2017. She was born in Sulfur Springs, TX to Marvin and Margaret Zimmerman on April 21, 1930. She married the love of her life, I B Webb Jr., after only knowing him for two weeks, on February 25, 1946 in Denver City, TX. \r\n \r\nShe went to school in Seminole, TX until getting married. She received her cosmetology license for the states of TX, WY and UT, working in the industry for 40 years. She was a Charter Member of Sunrise Baptist Church, singing in the choir for several years and was active in her church. \r\n \r\nJane was preceded in death by an infant son, Ronnie; her husband of 59 years, I B; her parents; brothers, M.L., Hulen, and Scott Zimmerman; and sisters, Billie Perry and Dean Turner; as well as her faithful dog, Ishma, who was her companion for 11 years. \r\n \r\nJane is survived by her sons, Monty (Carol) Webb of Sheridan, WY and Terry (Vickie) Webb of Graham, TX. She is survived by her grandchildren, Heather (Steven) Jones, Ronnie Webb, and Daniel (Lauren) Webb, all of Graham, TX. She is survived by her great-grandchildren, Hope Jones, Kylie, Tucker, Reese, and Avery Webb of Graham. She is also survived by her brother, James (Ernie) Zimmerman of Odessa, TX and sisters, Etna Goode of Cross Plains, TX and Loretta Moore of Anson, TX. "Miss Jane" is also survived by her special caregiver, Rhonda Foster, who was like a daughter she never had.\r\n \r\nVisitation is at Grimes Funeral Chapels, Kerrville, TX on Thursday, Dec. 28 from 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, Dec. 29 at Grimes Funeral Chapels with Pastor Mel Hardin of Sunrise Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories. \r\n \r\nPallbearers are nephews Ronnie Goode, Zandy Goode, Greg Goode, and grandsons Ronnie Webb, Daniel Webb and Steven Jones. \r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Salvation Army, Freeman-Fritts Animal Shelter, Sunrise Baptist Church, or Peterson Hospice.
