Jane Russell

Jane Hullinger Russell, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014 in Kerrville, Texas. She was born in Joplin, Missouri to Carroll Emery Hullinger and Beulah Lea Ferguson Hullinger on December 27, 1926. She married Joe Greer Russell on December 2, 1949 in Austin, Texas. \r\n \r\nJane went to school in Llano, Texas and graduated from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. She worked as a teacher for Austin Public, Kerrville Public, and Notre Dame Catholic Schools and received Teacher of the Year award in 1998. She was a member of First Baptist Church.\r\n \r\nJane is preceded in death by her husband, Joe G. Russell and her parents.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by one daughter, Montie Richards, and close friends, Linda and Mark Stone. Jane treasured her many wonderful friends. All were very important to her. \r\n \r\nVisitation will be Sunday, October 26, 2014, 3-5 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels, Kerrville, Texas.\r\n \r\nFuneral services will be held 10 AM, Monday, October 27, 2014 at Grimes Funeral Chapels, Kerrville, Texas with Reverend Sam Ligon, officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories, Kerrville, Texas.\r\n \r\nPallbearers will be Mark Stone, Rusty Hierholzer, Jim Griffin, Nicholas Dalton, Charles Ridgaway and Phil Sharnhorst.\r\n \r\nMemorials may be given to First Baptist Church or charity of your choice. \r\n\r\nThe family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Michael Grocki and her many friends.\r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
