James Lowell Wimbish went home to be with his Lord on May 30, 2015. He was born on May 6, 1932, to Lowell and Jewell Wimbish. He graduated from Itasca High School in 1949 and later attended Abilene Christian University graduating in 1953.\r\n \r\nHe began teaching and coaching in Cisco, Texas and Odessa, Texas. However, the business world was his calling. He dealt in mortgage banking and investments for some forty years.\r\n \r\nJames Wimbish married Eloise McNabb in August 1953. They were united in marriage in Harlingen, Texas. He is survived by his wife Eloise, one brother Wallace and his wife Linda of Irving, Texas, and one sister-in-law Judy Kutzenberger of College Station. Also among survivors are numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held at Grimes Funeral Chapels at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 5. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nJim's family would like to acknowledge appreciation to the River Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful loving care given to him during his time of illness.\r\n \r\nMemorials may be made to Spanish Missions, Eastern European Missions, World Bible School or a charity of your choice.\r\n \r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
