James Rutledge

James Lee Rutledge, 70 years old, passed away July 28, 2020 in Pipe Creek, Texas. He was born in Mercedes, Texas to his mother, Paula Cantu.\r\n\r\nHe was a veteran who served in the Marines.\r\n\r\nJames was preceded in death by his mother, Paula Cantu; sister, Rachel Rutledge Lambeth; and son, Robert Rutledge.\r\n\r\nJames is survived by brother, Ricardo Rutledge; sister, Daisy DeLay; children, Cynthia Rutledge, James Rutledge, Anita and Chris Martinez, Rebecca Rutledge, Johnny Greenwood, Joshua and Adriana Rutledge; grandchildren, Leann, Raider, Hudson, Isabella, Audrey and Abey; and also many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him dearly.\r\n\r\nBurial will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio at a later date. \r\n
