James Riles

James Preston Riles of Kerrville, Texas, passed away on July 7, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Los Angeles, California to Marie Josephine Weilepp and Thomas Preston Riles on February 10, 1943. He married Janice Ann Smith on June 30, 1972 in Santa Ana, California.\r\n \r\nHe attended Huntington Park High School in Huntington Park, California. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, and served in Vietnam. After his discharge he worked in private security.\r\n \r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents, Marie and Thomas Riles, and brother, William Riles.\r\n \r\nHe is survived by his wife, Janice Riles, and his brothers Thomas Riles and John Riles.\r\n \r\nA memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nMemorials may be given to an animal shelter of your choice. \r\n \r\nThe family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the VA Hospitals in Kerrville and San Antonio for the care he received in his last year.\r\n
